"Apparently, for several years, dog walkers on Rodborough Common above Stroud in Gloucestershire have decorated this tree at Christmas. Decorations just accumulate. there are notes and greetings, some with photos, pinned on sturdily enough to survive the wind. the box collects donations for an animal charity."
