Crane
The Crane - formerly the Cranborne - gives its name to Cranborne and by extension to Cranborne Chase. It rises at Pentridge near the Dorset / Hampshire border, a few yards away from the north-eastern end of the Dorset Cursus, and travels to Verwood and the Moors Valley country park, where it becomes the Moors River.
