HOWGATE WONDER

A cooking apple raised in 1916 by Mr Wratton, Howgate Lane, Bembridge, Isle of Wight, and is popular for exhibitions on account of its size. Its fruit is not so flavoursome as that of the Bramley, but it holds its shape when cooked.
