The Apple Day celebrations shown above were at West Dean Gardens, near Chichester West Sussex, Blondin Community Orchard and Horsenden Hill Community Orchard (both in Ealing, London) and Muchelney Abbey an English Heritage property near Langport, Somerset. At this latter, cidermaker and author James Crowden (above, right) read from his book Cider the Forgotten Miracle. James was later to be Common Ground's Apple Day Poet Laureate. With James in the above picture is the author John Fowles.
